{Gone Camping}

We just had a fun weekend camping at Smith and Moore house (that may be spelled wrong) Grandma Lois put this great weekend together a few months ago and the kids had a blast.  I must admit I was a little worried with the sleeping conditions for Cole, because he only sleeps well in a crib,but I am happy to say we survived. He only fussed a little and he mostly just caused me to not get any sleep because he kept hitting the trailor wall and rolling and crawling all over me.  He and his big brothers love the great outdoors.  Carsten even caught a fish.

{Where is the Tooth Fairy?}

The Tooth Fairy has gone missing!  She has missed Carsten two nights in a row! So Carsten began to be concerned so he wanted to set a trap for the Tooth Fairy and this is what he came up with.  Pure Genius!
  he used sugar to try and slow her down and to track her foot steps the mini pie tin and toothpick to trap her under, his two little teeth to lure her in, but she managed to escape.  She rolled up the dollar bills and used them to prop up the pie tin.  Carsten said she was too smart for his trap.  ha ha!

"You don't love me! So that is why I will be DORKY!" For the last little while Caleb has been on this kick of "you don't like me, you don't love me" we are having struggles with communicating. Tonight he was upset because he didn't get to stay with Dad at his brothers basketball practice. So while I was taking Cole out of the car seat he looks at me in the most serious face and says that! I busted out laughing. The kids says the funniest things so I am going to try harder at jotting them down, so if you see random quotes they are from him. :)

Check out our little cookie monster. Six months old and knows what the good stuff is all about thanks to Daddy. Can you believe how big he is now?
He is taking a nap and the boys our being entertained by the wii so I am taking this moment in time to blog. Yeah for me!

Any 24 watchers? Last night was a little intense with the new season. Coby said yesterday was the best day because he got his favorite dinner ( chili verde) and the new season of 24 started. Such a nice evening in front of the tube. We got the kids snuggled in their beds early so we could sit our lazy cans on the couch and vegge out to our favorite shows. Love love love the weekends.

...{Six Months, what?}...

Yes I can't believe it has been six months since the birth of our little Cole, and I have yet to find the new normal. I use to be the out and about get it done always have something on my plate to barely having the house clean, kids to school, dinner ready and home work done and kids to bed by 8:30 which ends up being 9-9:30 and I wonder why they are so cranky? :)

Well if you wonder what we have been up to the last 6 months here is a quick run down.
-Soccer (Caleb's first year, he really thinks it's football, he loves to tackle the other players and do rolls all over the field then looks up to make sure he is getting a reaction. He loves to put on a show)
-Basketball
-Of course the holidays. Christmas and the new year was great! I love spending time with the family. My sisters came into town and we were on the go everyday. The boys were worn out by the time they left and though I was ready for a break I felt sad they were gone.
-Hobbies all though I am still going strong with the vinyl bus. I have started a new passion, thats right I am making fabric flowers, bows and headbands. I have always been one for accessories, so me and a couple of my friends have been going to town. It is so much fun. One of my girlfriends has such a gift for this, so its fun to see her ideas it is so inspiring and a nice change to boy, boy, boy. If only I had a little girl. Oh well they are so dany cute I wear them myself. I will post pics soon.

I am also thinking about having a girls night out once a quarter to just craft. My Mom has offered her art studio to me so if any one is interested let me know. I will be doing all sorts of different things.

Well I hope a satsified a few of my friends need to see that I updated my blog. I will add pictures once it doesn't take me over an hour to load them.:)

{Caleb's 4th Birthday}

I am such an awesome Mom, Caleb's birthday was a month ago and here I am just now posting the pictures of his 4th birthday.  I can't believe he is 4.  How time flies.  He brings so much joy into our lives.  He is our little bullrider, dirt bike rider, basketball and baseball player.  Not only does he enjoy all of these things He loves to dress the part.

He is my ball of fire and at the same time my little cuddle bug, he keeps me on my toes.  We love how animated he is at all of the small things.  I love his question stage of life, he is the life of the party.  He is such a good helper around the house, he especially loves to help me clean the bathrooms.  Strange I know.  Here are a few pics from his birthday.  We love you Caleb!!!

{This is what happens when you can't see your feet}

The other day I was in a big hurry to get to the store and back, so as I was getting the kids in the car I just hurried and put some shoes on thinking they were both mine, but when I got to the store I realized one shoe was way more comfortable.  I looked down and noticed I was wearing one of Coby's shoes.  Carsten was so embarrassed that I was wearing two different shoes he insisted I get some matching ones.  Luckily we were at Wal-mart so I bought some cheap flip flops.
